3 Friday Thoughts:
1) Let things go. It's not worth it to let things eat you up and waste positive energy over. Life is too awesome and too short.
2) I love natural Vitamin D. It's a cure all for so many things.
3) I need to be more spontaneous. I was feeling a little down this week and I decided to be spontaneous (which is rare since I live by routines and schedules) and go to Balboa Park in San Diego with my two boys and my mom. We literally spent the whole day exploring and running around outside and it's amazing how much better I felt after. Plus, that place is insanely beautiful! Have you ever been?
Here are a few pictures from our day...
I am SO happy that today is Friday and I can not wait for the weekend! I feel like typing BOOYAH right now...there I did it.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

My husband and I were in San Diego last year and this brings back memories. I loved Balboa Park. We went sans kiddos, but would love to one day visit again.
Glad you picked up and went to the park...you look so happy!!
I just moved from San Diego! I did so many photography sessions there :)
I'm glad you had a beautiful day.
You are so amazing and the greatest friend anyone could have!!! These pictures are darling!! What a fun day to spend with your mom! I think I'm going to take you up on your advice and let (try to let hehe) things go! love you!! xo!
Hi Lindsay. I rarely leave comments but I felt compelled to do so today! I love love LOVE your blog. You have such great knowledge to share and a gorgeous family to boot! Thanks for opening up your life to your readers!
I LOVE Balboa Park! I always volunteer to go on the kid's field trips there!
I 100% agree with all of your 3 things!! As a mom of 3 little ones, I totally need to learn to let some things go (that don't matter in the grand scheme of things!), I need some sunshine in my life (it's been unseasonably cool and dreary here in GA!), and what does spontaneous mean anymore?? Ha! With 3 kids, I hear ya,I live and and breath by schedules, but I think at times that is just no fun.
SO glad I found your blog, I'm a happy new follower, and will def be coming back for more!
If you get a minute, would love for you to check out my beauty blog, I'm a mommy with a makeup problem (with 2 boys myself!)...
Hugs, Jennifer

I love Vitamin D
I was born and raised in San Diego, and I LOVE Balboa Park, especially during the "golden hour" before sunset. It's one of my absolute favorite places!
we did our engagement photos in balboa park and la jolla cove! love it there! do you live that close? we have to meet up sometime!!! xo
Sounds like a fun day :-) Have a great weekend as well :-)
Lindsay, your pics are beautiful! I'm a fan of natural vitamin D as well, I need all these rainy weather to move outta here!
You and your family look truly happy and immersed in spontaneity! Glad that you enjoyed yourself. If I had a choice, I'd be spontaneous 100% of the time. But work and efficiency requires schedules and routines. My compromise is that I have at least a day in the week where I let myself be totally spontaneous - to explore, discover and just be. Its really therapeutic for me and gets me recharged.
we've been here before...it's a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. you guys are too cute!
You look like such a nice and happy family! I've never been (I live in Maryland) but it looks like a lot of fun ;)
