Adding rosemary to our little herb garden. Something (I have no clue what) has eaten all of my basil...how RUDE!
Skeleton socks.
It rained! The cooler weather is finally making it feel like fall. Time for jeggings, sweaters, boots, scarves, fuzzy socks ahhh I am getting so excited just thinking about it all!
Rosebud Salve. I think this stuff has been around forever and its the best treatment for dry cuticles..and a great lip moisturizer. LOVE it.
A new pair of brown slouchy boots.On a side note: This weekend we are getting some family pictures taken by this amazing photographer, who is also my favorite cousin ;)

1. So, I'm pretty sure you're taking the fact that I've wanted some brown boots since LAST fall and rubbing it in my face. How rude.
2. Clearly #1 was me attempting to be funny. I'm not actually angry. Okay well, maybe a little.
3. Did the slugs get your basil? Nothin' will eat the rosemary.
4. People who get excited about the rain CLEARLY do not live in Oregon. lol You're more than welcome to come soak it up outside at my house for the next nine months. Which is pretty much how long it will be before I see the sun again.
5. I went and looked at the pictures. Pretty durn cute. Ian reminds me of McSteamy on Grey's. I think it's his beard.

always enjoy your "yay" posts! Full of delightful things all the time! The rain can be so normal but so beautiful, I like to watch the rain through the window too. The smell of basil always delight my senses, I have one plant outside my door. The skeleton socks are so cute, staring at your feet is no longer a dull moment. I'm not about the Rosebud Salve, but can I keep the container after you're done with it? And the boots are a must for fall.

Our basil is done for this year! Actually most of our summer herbs are. Love the smell of rosemary in the fall/winter months! I love those boots. I've been looking for a pair that color. I need to remember to pick up some rosebud salve...great stuff!

Love those socks! I use to wear wacky colored socks everyday when I was in Jr. high...and mom my still sends me a pair for almost every holiday! I have those boots too, and love them! actually I wear them so often I might need another pair sometime soon!

I'm down to the last few stems on my basil too. And as for my lemon basil, they were gone from the beginning without me knowing what even happened. So sad!
Rosemary should be pretty self sufficient! Can't wait to see how it's going.

Rosmary is so good... its great on anything... and well the rain... you can have it....:) i've had enough this summer to last me a few years at least.... love the boots.... so fallish... you're right!

Sorry bout your basil (it was me) but at least you got rosemary now! Yum... You could make rosemary bread. I'm SO, SO, SO excited for Fall! Omigosh. Just went to a pumpkin patch and aside from the lack of cider, it was everything I have been dreaming about. Now I wanna make pumpkin spice latte cupcakes after I saw 'em on someone's facebook.
