What you will need:
- Polymer clay
- Razor blade
Using your own wrist as a guide determine how long you want to make your bracelet. Use the razor blade to slice off the remainder.
Connect the two ends and gently mash ( I cant think of a better word so mash it is) the two ends together.
Bake for 25 minutes at 245 degrees.
Bake for 25 minutes at 245 degrees.
Have a little wrist party and make as many as you want!

These are adorable!! And braids are so in right now. This is like the "grown up" version of friendship bracelets!
Anna- Once they are baked they are very durable!

Wow I am amazed :) I'm definitely gonna try this one.
Aww, what an adorable idea! I would never have thought to braid clay. I really love that textured grey clay you have, too...
Wow! I used to play with Sculpey when I was little. I used an old wine box as a house and made everything else myself (Sculpey furniture, sculpey oven, sculpey people, etc) . I never realized it was for grown ups too! But now that I'm reminiscing, I think I'll pick some up for my sisters (we wanna do crafts today). Thanks for the good idea as always!
Oh wow, this looks like such a fun DIY project, I'm definitely going to give it a go - thanks for sharing! xx
These are so cute! I would have to measure around the widest part of my hand because arthritis has left its mark. I can never buy non-clasping bracelets as a result. Now, I feel pretty cool about making my own! Thank you!
Wow! These are so cute! And they look sooooo easy!
Those are great! Are they brittle though? Do you have to be careful about hitting them for fear they'll break?
Wow thats awesome! Will def try that.
I seriously need to pick u some polymer clay. You can do so much with it!
Nikki- they are actually a little bendy and flexible but still durable once baked. It's a pretty cool material to work with.
Linds, are you serious?? This is gorgeous! I am in love with this DIY. I swear, you know SO much about polymer clay. Please link this up on my first party!

Amazing! I want to make some of these awesome bracelets!!!
Hi there! I'm a new follower & I love your blog! I especially love the polymer clay projects & this one tops it off! I love bangles, but can never buy them because the width of my hand won't allow a bangle to comfortably go onto my wrist. This project is perfect because I can size it how I want! I look forward to reading more recipes, craft ideas, and your tips about healthy skin! Thanks :)

Love polymer clay! I have several bricks of the stuff laying around. I usually buy the white stuff (It seems to be cheaper that way) then hand paint everything I do. Although, I am really tempted to splurge on some colors. Great DIY!
omg i love all of them! you always inspire me :) xoxo, saskia

So brilliant! See, this is why I blog because there are so many more creative and brilliant people out there than me! Then I can do it and totally take credit at the genius (c: HA!!!
I love all these polymer tutorials! So fun and simple! I have a DIY to-do list a mile long - I'm so behind in my RSS feed that I just skimmed over your recent post about Goals vs To-Do list and it made me smile so hard - my OCD has the exact same hold on my tasks! Anyway - I can't wait to try these! Finally something relaxing to check off a to-do list :)
Hope you have a great weekend!
this is brilliant! love the tutorial :) and the wrist party aftermath.
Cool, I am going to have to make my momma one :)
I really like this, looks simple enough to do and I have a stash of polymer clay lying around. How do they hold up under the strain of sliding them on and off?
I had a HUGE polymer clay phase when Klutz came out with those Incredible Clay books! These are definitely prettier than all those millefiori bead and hemp chokers I used to make (and wear) by the dozens. Also, thanks for stopping by my blog too!

Love the bronze one! Super cute idea!!!
I have been making some of these and I can't quite get mine a good size to slide over my hand! Are yours pretty tight when you slide them onto your wrist? Also, can't get them to connect as smooth as yours!
Any suggestions?
This is so lovely! I'm really happy I found your blog!

When i tried to make the same with Air dry clay!! it Broke!! :(
I've had very similar ideas myself and I love working with clay. Thanks for sharing!
thank you for sharing this amazing tutorial! i have a question about the size of the bracelets. it must be a little bit bigger than the wrist to fit easily after baking?
i also would love to know what the brand is for that grey speckled clay!
I've seen your DIY at pinterest first and I have to say that I adore it! I haven't used this clay but I must try!!!

VEry good idea! nice bracelets!
Hey there! I really loved this tutorial, so I did it myself! I posted it on my blog too. I didn't use any of your pictures, but I did link back to you when I mentioned where I got the idea from. I hope that's okay! I've been prowling through your blog, and there are so many cool projects! If ever I use any more, I will definitely link back to you, so people can know where the idea originally came from. Thanks for posting these! Very cool.
I made these last night and when I woke up this morning, they were very hard and broke apart when I tried to put them on. Is this the expected outcome? Or should I not bake them as long to maintain some elasticity?
They should not break. I would suggest not baking them as long. Best of luck!
Lovely polymer clay bracelet tutorial :)
These are adorable! Thanks for the tutorial. Can you suggest any site where I can buy Polymer clay online?
its also a great gifts for any one.
I was wondering if it was ok to use these ideas to make stuff to sell at a charity event and youth group activity for church?

They look cute, but I think they'd break easy. I'd sooner buy a metal bangle and then 'mash' the braid onto it or adhere it somehow to give it some strength.
Thanks for this idea! This is a wonderful tutorial. I love polymer clay.
Best,
Amanda
This is an amazing idea! It got me all inspired and now I'm going to get some polymer clay and make my own :D
Really good idea!! this bracelet. I love polyclay. I have to do this bracelet. They are amazing.
